The display case murals are a colorful and playful depiction of the history of Adams County, CO, full of the people, places and events that shaped the county along with quotes, facts and a historical timeline. Collaged with the paintings are significant historical photos that complete the scope and sense of discovery. The atrium is filled with the beauty of growing vines and colorful flowers that rise up the wall to the third mural. This mural of community, (all the ways we live life together), is the bridge between the history and visually ties the two display case murals together.
